Sony products

Sony products are like slinkies, not much good for anything but still bring a smile to your face when pushed (or kicked) down the stairs. I am in utter disgust with the company that Sony has become. I spent about $10,000 on Sony products in just over a year. I have always been a big fan of Sony until this past year. Out of three different products I have purchased each of the three were refused to be repaired under warranty while still under the warranty time. The Bravia T.V. they claimed nothing was wrong yet when I turn off the T.V. with a HDMI device attached and turn the T.V. back on I get either no picture or the picture may only show for a split second then go black again. The flashing picture may happen several times or may only happen once but the end result is having to turn the HDMI device off and back on to regain picture. This normally would not have been found out if it weren't for an 18 month old running around that likes to play with the remote whenever I am not paying attention. The second item would be the PS3 which the receipt faded and could not be photocopied and I would not send the original after my encounters with the $4000 laptop. This item is a VGN-AR390E bought for roughly $4000 after shipping and everything. within 3 weeks the first hard drive failed, yet taht repair went off without a hitch. the second issue is where the problems began. Next the power plug had to changed out and the tech messed up my laptop. As I was out a printer that week I opted to send the original receipt with the laptop thinking Sony wouldn't be so hard up as to rip someone off for a lousy computer. Well I was sadly mistaken. I did get the computer back fixed, shiny and looking new, but no receipt. I was quite pleased and forgot all about the receipt until the next problem arose and they demanded a receipt in order to repair it. Then yet another problem while it was still just under the year and I'm completely furious. Not to mention their little B.S. rules of having to leave the original operating system intact to keep the warranty. What the hell would an operating system do to cause a computer to fail? There's a whole list of people that can't stand Vista! That's it for now.
